About Oh The Things You Can Buy

Oh The Things You Can Buy (OTTYCB for short) has been collecting cool, clever and wonderfully odd things to buy online since March 13, 2013. If a product made us laugh, made us say “wait, that exists?”, or quietly solved an annoying problem, it probably ended up here.

How we pick things

We look for products that are fun to discover and easy to give: gadgets, geeky gear, home oddities and gifts that beat another gift card. Every listing links to the store where you can buy it, usually Amazon or Etsy. We don’t sell anything ourselves, so check the store for current prices, shipping and returns.

When a product disappears from its store, we leave the page up with a few similar picks so the link you saved still goes somewhere useful.

How the site makes money

Some links are affiliate links. If you buy something through them, the store may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we pick. The full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.
