ENO DoubleNest Hammock

The ENO DoubleNest packs into a compression sack that is sewn right onto the hammock, so there’s no separate bag to lose in the leaves, and the whole thing weighs 19 ounces. Unpacked, it’s a 9.5-foot stretch of breathable nylon, about 75 inches wide, rated to hold 400 pounds.

That size is where the name comes from. It fits one person who likes to sprawl, or two who don’t mind sharing. The seams are triple-stitched, and the hammock works with all of ENO’s straps and accessories, so it can grow into a bigger setup later. This one comes in one of ENO’s special edition colorways.

It’s the classic gift for the camper who naps at every stop, the hiker who wants a lunch-break lounger that hardly takes up room in a pack, and anyone with two good trees in the backyard. A hammock also makes a campsite feel finished in a way a camp chair never quite does.

The catch: a hammock needs something to hang from. You’ll want two trees or posts a sensible distance apart and a set of tree straps, and since the hammock is designed around ENO’s own straps, those are the easy pairing.
