Medieval Animals Christmas Card Set

The banner inside reads “Lo, the revels are upon us.” That sets the tone for a Christmas card built around hand-drawn, medieval marginalia-inspired creatures. If your recipients are the people who stop to inspect the strange animals in the margins of old manuscripts, the subject is well chosen. The beasts give them something to examine beyond the usual seasonal greeting.

You get ten copies of the same illustration, not an assortment, so everyone on your list gets the same peculiar company. The 5-by-7-inch cards have full-color interiors with a decorative border. That attention to the inside is a welcome detail: opening the card continues the design, and the printed banner gives your handwritten message an appropriately theatrical opening line.

The cards use 300-350gsm eco-friendly matte cardstock, with envelopes included. They arrive flat and pre-scored, so folding the set is part of getting it ready to send. Allow a little assembly time before settling in to write your decidedly less medieval address labels.
