Pet Pouch Hoodie With Cat Carrier Pocket

The front pocket on this hoodie is sized for a cat. It’s a big kangaroo pouch with a fuzzy, fur-like lining, so a small cat can curl up against you while you sit on the couch, and your hands stay free for the laptop or the remote. When the cat is busy elsewhere, the pouch holds a phone, a tablet or snacks.

The lining zips out and goes in the washing machine, which matters once a shedding cat has been living in there. The hoodie itself is a flannel blend of 35% cotton and 65% polyester, cut as a women’s pullover, and the green and black plaid version reads as an ordinary cozy hoodie until someone notices the passenger. It works for small dogs too.

It suits the person whose cat follows them from room to room and climbs into any lap on offer, and the work-from-home friend whose cat demands to be held during meetings. It’s a funny gift with a practical side, which is a good combination.

The catch: the sizing runs small, and the maker suggests going up one or two sizes for a loose fit, so check the size chart before ordering. The pouch is made for small pets, so a big cat may simply not fit, and a cat that hates being held won’t be converted by a sweatshirt.
