Custom House Watercolor Portrait

Some people love their house enough to give you a tour of the new door handles. This is their kind of gift. Send in a photo of the house, and it becomes a watercolor portrait painted by hand. You can also include people or pets, so the family dog can share the spotlight instead of being politely left out of the family history.

The appeal is how specific it is to the person receiving it. A housewarming present usually helps someone settle in; this one celebrates the place itself. It suits a new homeowner, but there’s no need to wait for moving day. Someone who has spent years making a house feel like home has just as much reason to want its portrait. The hand-painted watercolor is the detail that makes this feel more personal than another photo of the front door.
