3D Wooden Chess Set with Storage

At 15 cm high, this chess set takes up vertical space as well as tabletop space. The board measures 30 × 28 cm, so its footprint is compact, but check the shelf clearance before deciding where it will live. The tall, solid wood design suits a chess player who wants the board to be part of the room between games. Even with the pieces put away, it has a more substantial shape than a flat board.

The handcrafted set includes natural wood pieces finished in varnish, with storage inside for putting them away after a match. That storage is a useful part of the design if your chess table also happens to be your coffee table: clearing the playing surface doesn’t require finding a separate box for the pawns. You still have the board to accommodate, but the loose pieces have a home. It ships from Ukraine, and free worldwide shipping is included in the listing.
