The crosswalk is the whole pitch. Anyone who knows the 1969 Abbey Road cover will recognise the four of them filing across white stripes, the photo taken outside EMI studios in St John’s Wood. This set recreates that scene in miniature, built from acrylic, resin and 3D printed parts, and you can pick painted or unpainted figures depending on how much you want to do yourself.
The size options are the part that caught my eye. The 1:24 version stands 75 mm tall, the 1:43 is 41 mm, the 1:64 is 28 mm and the 1:87 is 20.7 mm. The crosswalk only comes with the 1:43 and larger sizes, so if you want the full scene on a shelf, go for one of those. The smaller scales are just the figures, which is still a neat way to get a band onto a model railway layout.
It’s a good pick for a Beatles fan who wants a desk or shelf piece that actually looks like the cover. Without the crossing, the small-scale version is just figures barely over 20 mm, and they get lost easily on a crowded desk.
