Hamburger Mini Plate Set

A hamburger on the table usually means dinner. Here, it means somewhere to put the soy sauce. The six-layer burger design is made from handmade ceramic mini plates, so the joke comes apart into dishes you can actually use for sushi, dips, candy, or a small dessert.

The mini-plate format makes more sense for a snack spread than a full meal. I like the idea of bringing out the burger, separating the layers, and letting each little dish hold a different sauce or bite. The set also includes two custom spoons, a useful addition if you’re serving condiments rather than cookies.

The ceramic is listed as dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe, which gives the playful design a practical foundation. Dishwasher compatibility matters most here: a collection of little sauce dishes is less appealing if every piece needs hand-washing. This suits the person who puts some thought into arranging snacks, then wants the tableware to look just as considered when it’s put back together.
