Mario x Jaws Poster

Apparently, the Mushroom Kingdom has its own answer to Jaws. A Mario and Jaws mashup featuring a Piranha Plant makes a surprising amount of sense: those things have been treating plumbers as lunch for decades. It’s the kind of crossover I’d give wall space to in a room where the Nintendo controllers live next to the horror DVDs.

It’s professionally printed on 250gsm silk paper, with A3 and A2 options. A3 measures 11.7 x 16.5 inches, so that’s my pick for a smaller spot near a gaming setup. The A2 version measures 23.4 x 16.5 inches, giving the movie-poster premise more room. Choosing between them mostly comes down to how much wall you want to devote to this particular collision of interests.

I’d choose it over another straightforward Mario poster for someone who likes spotting connections between games and films. The Piranha Plant gives the crossover a reason to exist beyond putting two famous names together. If Jaws means nothing to you, though, a straight Nintendo print would probably earn its wall space more convincingly.
