Nebula Mars 3 Outdoor Projector

Most portable projectors lose their charm the moment they lose power. The Nebula Mars 3 carries a 185Wh battery that the maker says gives up to 5 hours of video, and its 1000 ANSI lumen picture is rated for screens up to 200 inches at 1080p. That is enough for a backyard wall or a sheet strung between two trees.

The outdoor details are what make it interesting. It has IPX3 water resistance, a built-in stand, a lens cover, a camping light, and a carry handle, so it can sit on a picnic table while the dew rolls in. The RoamPower battery doubles as a power bank for phones, which matters more on a camping trip than it sounds. The 40W speaker supports Dolby Digital Plus, and the maker says autofocus, keystone, and Screen Fit all finish in 3 seconds.

It runs Android TV 11.0 and works with Chromecast, so you can stream straight from apps or cast from a phone. Hauling it in a pack takes some effort, and that 1000-lumen image needs real darkness to look its best, so plan your movie nights for after sunset.
