Vintage McDonald’s Changeables Toy

Long before fast food toys were cheap movie promos, someone figured out how to fold a molded plastic cheeseburger into an articulated robot dinosaur. The folding hinge mechanisms on these late-80s gems are surprisingly clever, snap cleanly, and look great on a desk. Intact plastic hinges are hard to find on these, but as physical design artifacts go, they beat modern plastic junk every time.
