Xbox Halo Special Edition Console Ornament

A Christmas tree is an unexpected place to hear the Xbox startup sound. Press the Power button on this green Halo Special Edition console ornament and it lights up, plays the startup audio, and plays music from “Halo Theme Mjolnir Mix” from Halo 2. The soundtrack is the reason to choose this over a silent miniature console, especially if those sounds still bring back specific gaming sessions.

The plastic ornament measures about 3.5 by 1.25 by 3.5 inches, so check the space between branches before picking a spot. It comes with a hanger attachment, and the green console design gives Halo fans something recognizable even with the lights and sound off. Expect a small piece of gaming hardware among the usual holiday decorations.

Three replaceable LR44 button batteries are included, along with a gift box. Button cells are another consumable to keep track of, but the button-activated sound suits an ornament you interact with occasionally. This belongs on the tree of someone who remembers that console fondly and will still reach over to hear it start up each December.
