Victorinox Tinker Swiss Army Knife, Metal Is Our Business Edition

Most Swiss Army knives come in plain red. This Tinker is a KnifeCenter exclusive with a heavy-metal theme, “Metal is our Business,” which is a pun a knife shop was always going to make. Under the band-shirt look is a regular Victorinox Tinker, made in Switzerland, 3.6 inches closed and 2.2 ounces.

The Tinker is the fixer of the Swiss Army family. You get a large and a small blade, 3 mm and 6 mm flat screwdrivers, a Phillips screwdriver, a can opener, a bottle opener, a wire stripper, a reamer with a punch and sewing awl, tweezers, a toothpick and a key ring. That’s a lot of small repairs in a tool that disappears into a pocket.

It suits the metalhead who also tightens their own guitar hardware, or anyone who would carry a Swiss Army knife if it didn’t look like everyone else’s.

The catch: there are no scissors or pliers, so it’s a blades-and-screwdrivers tool rather than a full multi-tool. And the theme is the joke. If the person in question can’t stand metal music, get them a plain red Tinker instead.
