Merle Dixon Action Figure

Merle Dixon’s prosthetic arm comes with a removable bayonet, which feels like the right introduction to this particular survivor. Subtlety isn’t really his department. This McFarlane Toys figure gives Daryl’s estranged brother 20 points of articulation, plus an assault rifle, pistol and knife. For anyone who wants Season 3 Merle, re-armed and ready for action, those specific details beat a familiar face just standing on a shelf.

For a Walking Dead fan who enjoys the characters who make every situation worse, that’s a pretty good pitch. The articulation gives you room to change his pose, while the removable bayonet puts his most distinctive accessory at the center of the fun. A removable bayonet is a fine reason to give this to someone with a soft spot for the Dixon brothers, especially if their favorite character isn’t someone they’d trust with the house keys.
