Engraved Wood Fan Art

Groot on wood feels like unusually sensible casting. Engraved Wood Fan Art puts movie-inspired designs onto solid pinewood, giving familiar sci-fi characters a different home than another paper poster. The wood is sanded, waxed and varnished, but its grain still varies from piece to piece. That natural variation is part of the appeal: the character may be familiar, but the backdrop isn’t a carbon copy.

Made in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, the designs include Groot, a Stormtrooper and the creature from Alien. This is a good fit for the movie fan who wants their living room to acknowledge the obsession without handing an entire shelf over to collectibles. The pinewood is the reason to choose it over a conventional print, especially if you like seeing a natural material share wall space with something from deep space. Groot, at least, should feel right at home.
