Midwest Tropical Fish Table

A vase is one way to put something interesting on a coffee table. A 28-gallon aquarium is a considerably bigger commitment to the bit. The Midwest Tropical Fish Table puts the tank beneath a beveled glass top, making the aquarium part of the furniture rather than something parked beside it. It suits the person who wants the fish tank to be the living room’s main event.

The stretched-octagon aquarium is acrylic and measures 38 inches long, while the glass top measures 45 by 26 inches. That larger measurement is the one to keep in mind when picturing it between your sofa and the rest of the room. This is a coffee table with an aquarium, not a little desktop tank with furniture ambitions.

Fish aren’t included, so the underwater cast is up to you. We like the idea for someone who already wants an aquarium, rather than someone who just needs somewhere to put a mug.
